If you are already married or simply would like to reaffirming your love in a very special and touching way, we offer you a Mayan ceremony on a white, sandy beach, in a very tipical village or in a sacred Mayan Cenote. In this case no legal documents are necesary…..it's just a spiritual celebration of love! And instead of the exchange of rings, during the Mayan Ritual, music is performed with pre hispanic instruments, creating a mistic atmosphere. An altar is made with flowers at four points with an arch and offerings on top. And there the Chilan (Shaman) will bless the couple. The central flame is dedicated to man and god which symbolize Mother Earth and cosmos. Flowers are selected personally from the people of the village who knows all the different flowers meaning Symbolic gifts : corn, cacao seeds, cacao powder and tortillas The couple will give each other symbolic gifts. The groom will give corn and cacao seeds. In return, the bride will give tortillas and powder of cacao. Symbolically, a woman will turn the raw material given by her future husband into food. After this ritual the Chilan will bless the couple with flowers petals.
